1. Information Processed by the App

Gig Driver Profit may process the following information on your device:

• Shift start and end times
• Trip and order records
• Income and expense information
• Mileage and profitability calculations
• GPS location and route points
• Vehicle and operating-cost information
• User-entered notes and settings
• Purchase entitlement status for Gig Driver Profit Pro

2. Local Data Storage

Most user data is stored locally on your device using the App’s local database.

Gig Driver Profit does not require a user account and does not operate its own cloud server for storing your driving, income, expense, or route data.

Your local data generally remains on your device unless you choose to export or back it up.

3. Location Data

Gig Driver Profit uses location data to support core shift-tracking features, including:

• Recording driving routes during an active shift
• Calculating mileage
• Associating route data with shifts and trips
• Displaying recorded routes on the map
• Showing an approximate current map position when no route is available

Continuous location tracking is used only while an active shift is being recorded through the App’s foreground location service.

When an active shift ends, continuous location tracking stops.

The App may also request the device’s last known location when opening the map, even if no shift is currently active. This is used only to position the map and does not start continuous tracking.

4. Foreground Location Service

During an active shift, Gig Driver Profit uses an Android foreground service to continue recording location while the App is in the background or the device is locked.

A system notification is displayed while this service is active.

The service stops when the shift ends.

5. Google Maps

Gig Driver Profit uses Google Maps SDK for Android to display maps and route information.

Google Maps may collect or process certain technical information according to Google’s own policies, including device and network information, IP address, SDK identifiers, crash or diagnostic information, and map interaction data.

Google’s privacy practices are governed by Google’s own privacy policies.

6. Google Play Billing

Gig Driver Profit uses Google Play Billing for the optional Gig Driver Profit Pro one-time purchase.

Google Play processes purchase transactions and purchase history according to Google’s own policies.

The App does not directly receive or store your payment card information.

7. Exports and Backups

The App allows users to export or back up certain data.

CSV and PDF exports may contain summary information such as income, expenses, mileage, and profitability.

JSON backups may contain more complete App data, including route and GPS information.

Exported files are saved to a location selected by the user through the Android system file picker.

If you choose a third-party storage provider, such as a cloud drive provider, that provider may receive the exported file according to its own privacy policy.

8. Data Sharing

Gig Driver Profit does not sell user data.

Gig Driver Profit does not use advertising SDKs.

Gig Driver Profit does not use analytics SDKs.

Gig Driver Profit does not use AI services.

Gig Driver Profit does not upload your shift, income, expense, trip, or route database to a developer-operated server.

Certain information may be processed by third-party platform services required for App functionality, including:

• Google Maps SDK for Android
• Google Play Services
• Google Play Billing

9. Data Retention

Local App data remains on your device until you:

• Delete the data within the App
• Clear the App’s storage
• Uninstall the App
• Restore or replace the App’s local data using a backup

Files you previously exported are not deleted automatically when App data is deleted.

Google Play purchase records are managed by Google and are not deleted by the App.

10. Delete All Data

Gig Driver Profit includes functionality to delete locally stored App data.

Deleting local data does not:

• Delete previously exported files
• Delete Google Play purchase records
• Delete data independently processed by Google services

11. Children’s Privacy

Gig Driver Profit is designed for adult gig drivers and is not directed to children.

The App is not intended for users under 18 years of age.

12. Security

Gig Driver Profit is designed to minimize unnecessary data transmission by storing core user data locally on the device.

Users are responsible for protecting exported backup files and access to their device.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the App’s features, data practices, or third-party services change.
